For subcontractors and suppliers that wish to bid on a trade package and perform work for a CMAR, the first step is a prequalification assessment. All businesses and suppliers interested in participating in a project are encouraged to begin the prequalification process as soon as possible, so that when trade bids are announced, they are ready to apply.

You must prequalify separately with each CMAR you wish to work with by visiting their website, completing a questionnaire and providing supporting documents. Not every CMAR requires prequalification before bidding, but successful bidders must complete the process, and a head start is strongly recommended.
